My Tote Gote Model B project is nearly complete. I am hoping someone can help with an image or description of the rear brake linkage (this is the brake that puts a small section of V-belt against the first jackshaft). When I purchased the Gote the rear brake was intact but any cable or linkage was long gone. The front brake just isn't quite enough.It was not a Gote but a small (er) mini bike. It has a chrome, or nickel plated frame and a strange long curved brake pedal. I believe it is a Sears by Roper like the one in my pic, except not nearly as nice. The wire coming from the motor was for a kill switch. Any lights on these old gotes were from a separate battery powered kit. You must be working on a 'Blazer'. Tote Gote didn't have a 2 speed. The Blazer company was started by folks that left Tote Gote to create the 2 speed option. This will make finding the parts you need harder.
