The Alcazar is the oldest Royal Palace still in use in Europe today - it was developed by Moorish Muslim Kings and its upper levels are still used by the Spanish Royal Family today as their official residence when in Seville. They are just giving you 1/2 hour to to clear the grounds not look around & then head to the doors. Tickets need to be ''bought'' in advance & they go quickly. So we ordered our tickets online for the next day for the 9;30am time slot.
