Moon Palace Cancun is located in Cancun although it’s not in the actual Hotel Zone. It sits just south of the Hotel Zone off the major roadway leading to the entire Mayan Riviera and is only about a 20 minute drive from the airport. Kids Club. 4 days ago · We had a wonderful family vacation at the moon palace nizuc. It was spotless, the staff were wonderful. You are allowed to go between Nizuc and the other property Sunrise. That made the trip, as the kids loved the play area and the warmer pools. Sadly as beautiful as the pools are at Nizuc, they are extremely cold. The Grand has the waterpark and the best kids cub. You can go to all the other resort areas to eat and play if you are staying at the Grand, but not the other way around. If you stay at Moon, Sunrise or Nizuc you have to pay for day passes to the Grand. They are all kid friendly and similar distance to the beach.
