This is not meant to be a "hit piece", but just to overall inform those who may be contemplating going down the rabbit hole I'm currently close to the bottom of that is Staccato P ownership and experience. First, my use case is a duty pistol while serving with a Swat team and general duty use.

I don't think the XC is worth the price tag. You're getting tighter finish and a integrated comp for 2k more than a P or C2. I personally sold my XC and got a P instead and carry a C2 daily. The C2 uses standard Staccato mags so even if they are "too long" you could still use your Staccato P mags in the C2 when training or at the range. I had a Staccato P with a C2 grip that I used for carry but wanted the P back to its full size and also wanted the smaller C2 barrel for carry so just yesterday picked up my C2 for carry.Yes glock has been around longer so its "proven" but what came down to me going with a Staccato c2 is that it checks every thing on my list out the box. I hadn't really considered a STI until I saw Garand Thumb's review of the STI Tactical this past winter. Put them on the back burner. Than that Primary and Secondary podcast a month ago about the STI Staccato is what made me really think about the Staccato a lot. It is also on my grail list.
