Brown discharge on nexplanon

Krazik8i 3 Sep 2018. Hi, I am about the same age and have been on implanon/nexplanon implants for almost 10 years with similar symptoms for the last 18/24 months. First couple of years I bled non-stop, then it died off and the last couple of years I’ve had the dark/old blood discharge issue.

This is normal. As the implant is in longer, it doesnt secrete as high a level of hormones and irregular bleeding can happen. This should settle down when your body adjusts to the lower levels. You may still have some irregular bleeding but hopefully it wont be more than once a month or maybe even less.
